Furniture
Returns are allowed up to 14 days of receipt for all in stock furniture items.

Please contact our customer service team by sending an email to hello@cocoongoods.com with the order number, a quick explanation of the reason why you wish to return the product, and any detail you consider important. We will answer emails within two working days. Our customer service team will then contact you to organize a collection and explain all the necessary procedures.

Items must be sent back in the original, unopened, unmarked and undamaged packaging, otherwise a 30% restocking fee will be incurred.

Items and packaging must not have been used, assembled or modified in any way.

Customer is responsible for all shipping costs to and from delivery location for any returned products.

We are not responsible for return packages that may be lost or damaged in transit.

Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.


Soft Goods
Bedding, changing pad covers, mattresses and changer pads can be returned for a refund or exchange, provided that a Return Authorization Request is made within 14 business days from the receipt of your order.

Please send an email to hello@cocoongoods.com with the order number and the reason for your return, and we will issue Authorization.

Returned merchandise must not be used, soiled, or washed and must be in new, resalable condition in its original packaging to qualify for a refund or credit.

All returned items will be inspected before your credit is issued.

We are not responsible for return packages that may be lost or damaged in transit.

Due to the nature and use of these products, Toys and paint cannot be returned.

Manufacturer Warranty

Furniture
Cocoongoods guarantees to the Original Purchaser that our furniture products are free of defects in workmanship and materials. As such, we provide a 2 year warranty on all furniture products from the date of purchase from cocoongoods.com. Your furniture will be replaced or repaired at our option, at no cost to you. Our warranty protects you against damage that is the result of a manufacturing defect and is non-transferrable from the original owner. We will replace any defective or missing parts at no additional charge.
This warranty does not cover or apply to:

  • Damage that is the result of improper storage, assembly or installation, negligent misuse, or products that have been altered by the owner in any way not intended by the manufacturer
  • Normal wear and tear or commercial use
  • Items bought as used or secondhand products, including items that served as floor models
  • Items that have been altered by an unauthorized 3rd party repair person
  • Failure to follow proper care instructions and assembly methodology as provided by Cocoongoods.

This warranty is non-transferrable from the original purchaser.

Cancellations

Most items ship within 48-72 hours. All cancellations must be made within 24 hours from the time the order was placed. Any cancellation request beyond 24 hours may incur a restocking fee. Once your order is on its’ way, it may not be cancelled. Please refer to our return policy in this case. If you are unhappy with your purchase for reasons other than a manufacturing defect, please reach out to us so we can discuss a solution that works.

Shipping

Unfortunate slip-ups can sometimes occur in final packaging and shipping, so in the unlikely event your purchase arrives to you in less than perfect condition, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 10 days at hello@cocoongoods.com or give our customer service team a call at 1-800-237-6430.

Receiving Shipments
Furniture items will be shipped via either Fed Ex Home Delivery or Fed Ex Freight for the largest items, such as Dressers. Customers will receive a tracking number as soon as it is available for their convenience. It is advised that customers be onsite to receive, inspect, and sign for delivery. Unless special arrangements have been made, all shipments are curbside delivery, which means to the first dry threshold of the address.

Inspection
Even though items are packaged properly, transit-related damage can occur. Cocoongoods has engineered custom packaging on our products to ensure safe transport and all shipments are insured against loss or damage. When an order arrives, please inspect your order at the time of delivery and only accept merchandise received in good condition. Inspect the outside packaging carefully and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Shipping documents should not be signed for without recording details of transit damage. If you decide to accept merchandise that appears to be damaged, please indicate the condition next to your signature accepting the delivery. Please notify the shipper of any damages immediately and be certain to retain all original packaging. Please also notify us at hello@cocoongoods.com within 24 hours for assistance with any issues. If a claim is necessary, it will require documentation in the form of digital photos to record condition of goods upon arrival.

Unpacking your item
Please take care when opening the shipping carton. Do not use a sharp knife or tool to open cartons as you risk cutting into the furniture. All staples should be fully removed prior to taking the item from the carton, otherwise you run the risk of scratching the piece as you remove it from the carton.  All items have brightly colored hardware bags and assembly instructions included in the box, please make sure not to discard before securing.
